Delivered in a blended format*, with clinical practicums throughout, the BSN Program prepares students to be well-rounded nursing professionals through a combination of general education and core nursing courses, so no previous nursing experience is necessary to enroll. Our program aims to develop a nursing graduate who can administer client-centered care by applying critical thinking, holistic clinical reasoning and decision-making, and evidence-based practice.

All of this curriculum is in keeping with guidelines from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), the Essentials for Baccalaureate Education for Professional Nursing Practice, Quality and Safety Education for Nursing (QSEN), Accreditation of Distance Learning standards, Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC), the Alliance for Nursing Accreditation of Distance Education, and the California Board of Registered Nursing.

The BSN program includes both general education and nursing core courses. All courses will be delivered through the Canvas learning management system (LMS), which serves as a centralized hub for eBooks, online simulations, test preparation resources, high-fidelity labs, and curriculum resources.
